CHSToday: Energy drinks donated to frontline workers

Pennsylvania-based transportation company Barnhart Transportation and Charleston-based shipping company ShipSmith partnered with the Gas Monkey Foundation’s Richard Rawlings to deliver Gas Monkey energy drinks to MUSC Health + Roper St. Francis Healthcare frontline workers this week.

Together, the drinks, along with Barnhart’s trucks, fuel + drivers, were graciously donated to help make this possible.

Charleston is just one stop on the journey – the company plans to donate 13 truck loads of energy drinks to COVID-19 hotspots around the country.
