ErieNewsNow.com: Barnhart Transportation makes special delivery to Erie County's first responders

Since the start of the pandemic, support for first responders has been shown in so many ways.

Another way that support is being shown is by a local trucking company.

North East-based Barnhart Transportation helped give a big pat on the back to front line workers across the nation, and right here in Erie County.

Barnhart Transportation made a number of stops Wednesday in the county to deliver energy drinks to first responders.

Barnhart partnered with ShipSmith, a South Carolina based shipping company. They answered the call of reality TV star Richard Rawlings to deliver his energy drink called 'Gas Monkey" all across America.

Along with drop-offs to Erie fire and police personnel, the energy drinks were also delivered to the McKean Fire Department for those in the west county.

A drop-off was also set to take place for east county first responders Wednesday evening.
